This project truly was a labour of love. Richie from 1 of 100 said to me I have an idea, I'm not sure if it's possible... Projects that start like this are my absolute favourite to work on. Richie wanted to take a Jim Lambie Artwork that was used for the album cover for Joe McAlinden and turn it in into a t-shirt that was both screen printed and embroidered. The t-shirt had 9 layers of screen printing done before I received it. The challenge for me was making sure that the embroidery was lined up perfectly, Richie had a few spare t-shirts for me to get everyting lined up and then we were ready to go!
The final t-shirts were well worth the extra time and attention to line everything up perfectly. They sold out comepletely within 24 hours!
We have collaborated with Katy on a number of projects now. The most recent was a labour of love, combining classic hand Screenprinting with some bespoke embroidery to create an exclusive release t-shirt. This is where Katy really excels, taking the time to understand the requirements, test and complete all within the agreed timescales. The finished products were of exceptional quality and we, our customers and collaborators Jim Lambie and Joe McAlinden were delighted with them. Highly recommended.
